This study investigates the perceptions of secondary school students and teachers in Kuwait regarding the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing the educational experience and examines differences in these perceptions based on key variables. A descriptive approach was adopted, where a validated questionnaire was distributed to a sample of (390) students and (138) teachers from public schools. The findings revealed that both students and teachers held moderate views toward AI (Overall M = 2.26), with no statistically significant differences between the two groups. Conversely, digital literacy and the frequency of technology use emerged as significant factors shaping participants’ attitudes. The study concludes that the digital skills gap is the main barrier to effective AI integration and recommends the development of these skills through national frameworks and professional development programs to ensure the successful application of AI in education.
